Our new 14" Slow Cut Metal Chop Saw, also known as a Cold Saw, offers superior and economic performance. Once a cut is made you can touch the fresh edge with your fingers! No more abrasive wheels blowing up, no more black debris flying everywhere, and no more running out of expensive abrasive cut off wheels. The superior carbide blade makes a cleaner and safer cut, and in the long run, is cheaper. With proper use, the blade will outlast 50 abrasive wheels. The saw is equipped with a built-in miter bevel vise for angle cuts and a robust clamping system. The saw will make cuts in 5 1/8” round stock at 90 degrees and 4 1/8” at 45 degrees, and 4-1/4" x 4-1/4” square capabilities at 90 degrees, and 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" at 45 degrees. On rectangular stock you can cut 3-3/4" x 7-1/4” at 90 degrees and 3-1/8" x 4-3/8 at 45 degrees. The 3 ½ horsepower, 15-amp motor, with trigger-overload-protection, has power to spare and is backed with a 1-year warranty.
